  • Outcome: Students can crew vessels up to 24 meters in coastal waters (up to 20 miles offshore) in daylight and moderate conditions.

    • 16 years of age or over.
    • 200 nautical miles and 10 days at sea (logged with proof).
    • IYT International Crew certificate or equivalent qualification.
    • IYT VHF Radio Operators Certificate or equivalent.
  • Summary: A 5-day course for students to gain competence in commanding vessels up to 24 meters.
  • Outcome: Students can command vessels (up to 24 meters) in coastal waters (up to 20 miles offshore), typically for charter purposes in fair conditions.

Outcome: Students will understand and effectively use VHF radios, EPIRBs, and DSC-enabled radios in recreational or professional marine environments

  • Summary: A 3-day theory and practical course covering the operation of small powerboats and rigid inflatables.
  • Outcome: Students can operate vessels up to 15 meters in coastal regions in sight of land, with no horsepower limitations, in fair weather.
