Have you always been a sailor?
I was first introduced to sailing at the age of 4 when my parents started Yachtshare. Since then, my love of sailing has only grown and I’ve been fortunate to experience most aspects of sailing, from racing, to cruising, to coaching.
What else do you do?
I also run Daily Boats, a subscription boating service. Our members use our fleet of fully managed and maintained Buccaneer 635s as a hassle free and cost effective alternative to purchasing a boat.
I hear you’ve competed at a World Champs, tell us more?
Yes, back some years ago I was a fairly competitive Laser Radial sailor and represented New Zealand at a number of international events.
I was selected for 2 world champs – the 2012 Youth Laser Radial World Championships in Australia, and the 2013 Womens Laser Radial World Championships in China.
Competing at such a high level was an amazing experience and it’s great to have those skills to now pass on to others.
