COURSE SUMMARY
The Try Sailing course is a 3 hour long sailing experience.
Feel the thrill of sailing around the harbour powered by the wind while learning the basics.
This is a beginner course and no prior experience is required.
The Try Sailing course is the equivalent of one of the five sessions of the Intro to Sailing course, so that you can test it out before committing to the full course.
After this course, we recommend going onto the Intro to Sailing course.
Qualification
Participants will receive the IYT Try Sailing certificate.
Certificate limitations
- Crewing a vessel (monohull or catamaran) up to 15 meters
- Inland or coastal waters <5 miles offshore
- Daylight hours
